We have a relatively old playbook that we follow when it comes to SEO. This applies to each of its subsets, including on-page SEO. It worked for most of our clients, it is still doing extremely well, and given the direction things are moving in, it appears it is the way to go with new developments blending in.

NOT distributing keywords unnaturally just to hit a set density. We know one clearly-defined H1 is enough on a page if there’s not an emergency. That said, formatting does not mean techniques like using keywords in every possible header, but focusing on semantic headings. Our content has always been optimized for readers first. But because we are providing SEO services, the content is formatted in a way that search engines find it and think, “This stuff should appear more frequently in my SERP.” Thin content with overused keywords, overusing ALT text for keywords, building link profiles without a clear direction that ignores relevancy, etc., are excluded in our playbook too.

Can you work on our existing pages without having to rewrite the entire content?
